What We Do
Our Projects:
(All are catered towards children in foster care as well as those that are adopted.)
We give out My Forever Friendship Pony books, partnered with brand new stuffed ponies to the children. We donate to agencies as well as to individual foster and adoptive parents who reach out to us via our website or Facebook page and will mail nationwide. The age group most receptive to this is children, ages 2 – 10.
We raise funds to help sponsor groups of kids to attend a local Equine-Facilitated Psychotherapy program. Adriana herself has experienced the healing benefits of being around horses for the last six years. “They calm me and help me feel safe,” Adriana says. There is no doubt that horses are healing. According to Equine-Assisted Therapies of South Florida, this program is a non-mounted therapy program, in which a licensed mental health professional works with the client and horse to explore feelings and behaviors. Our focus for this project is tween/teen aged kids.
Our newest project is to set up Peace Places for younger children that need it. This is something that Adriana is currently doing for children who can use help with destressing and self-regulating. She will bring a bag of items and set up a small space for the child which consists of things like a body pillow, weighted blanket, breathing ball, journal, calming scents and more. She will model for the child how to use the area. Our focus for this project is for younger kids (ages 4-10) who live in Palm Beach and Broward county, Florida.
If you have an interest in being a recipient to one of our programs, please reach out through our Contact Us page. Include your child's age and what you are interested in. We will meet needs as we are able.
